THE FERMENTATION + DISTILLATION
Once we’ve got the wheat, it’s time to work some magic. The grains go through fermentation, where yeast breaks down the sugars and starches. It’s all a bit technical, but the end result? A crisp, clean alcohol base that’s primed and ready for distilling. Now, this is where we really get into it. Most vodkas stop at three distillations, but not Folly’s. A cut above the rest, we run ours through the still five times, just to make sure we’ve got that perfect balance. This process gets rid of any impurities while keeping the rich character of the wheat intact. It’s a serious craft, but we reckon it’s worth it for that ultra-smooth finish.
